
The Enablers Network is an employee-led association for people with lived experience of disability and their allies in the Victorian public sector. The network is open to all people with disability and allies from all parts of the VPS. Everyone is welcome.
Established in 2016 by three people with a disability, the Enablers Network is an association of about 600 public servants with a disability and their allies.
First and foremost, the network provides peer support and self-help to people with a disability working in the Victorian public sector.
Second, Enablers delivers professional education to its members to help them progress their careers and know how to enforce their workplace rights and entitlements
Third, the Enablers Network provide individual and systemic advocacy. It collaborates closely with a network of Deputy Secretary Disability Champions and delivers an annual ‘Meet the Secretaries’ event.
